Can anyone tell me what the options are? I'd like to treat my partner. :)

Some people suggest eating at somewhere like the Rose & Crown so you can sit outside and watch Illuminations after (or even during) your meal. The downside is that you are not guaranteed a table outside, and if you are seated indoors it kinda wrecks the plan.

For my money, I'd eat a little earlier (maybe 6.30-7.00 ish) and plan to finish by around 8pm latest, then go out onto World Showcase and find yourselves a nice spot to watch the show from. Once you've done that, one of you can pop off to get coffee or something and you can both sit and relax and watch the show.

I love the Le Cellier restaurant on World Showcase, but there are lots of other restaurants to choose from and there aren't really any bad ones, it depends on what sort of food you like. Mexico is very nice too, charming nightime atmopshere inside the "temple". France is nice, and has two good restaurants to choose from (the upstairs one being the most expensive, but you should get a nice view of Illuminations through the windows if you do want to watch it over a meal - again, if you can get the table you want). I've heard that Japan is a bit average if you're used to Japanese food, but it's a great experience (not a big fan of sushi myself, so I don't know).

Whatever you choose, book it soon as these places all tend to sell out a long time in advance. Bookings are available 180 days out, so you could even book now if you like - there's no advanced cost and you can change your mind later if you want.

Thanks for your advice. I think it would be best to plan to eat beforehand, otherwise I will be stressing all day about whether or not I can get a good table which would be silly :o:
