HI everyone
As you know by now we are travelling as a party of seven...one family of four and one family of three.
We have booked the standard rooms and therefore want to know which block/rooms to request?
Any recommendations would be gratefully received! xxx

From previous experience with regards this thread ,you will get reccomendations for every block.I will give you our experience, but what I will say is whatever the block you choose you will have a fantastic time there and the block that you stay in will become your favourite. We stayed in 50's facing the lake on the ground floor 30 second from the pool.It was a 3 minute walk to the main building and 2 minute to the car park.We will be asking for this again when we go in Jan

Thanks Nikki....
Are the rooms themed in the style of the decade or in Disney theming? My kids are convinced that they are going to have Mickey or Minnie rooms but I am not sure that is the case!
Did you find the rooms adequate? I have heard that the door opens onto the beds?! Sounds a little small...although we will only be using it to sleep in!

From what i can remember they are themed in the style of the decade but once your kids are there it will make no difference as they will be so excited. They do have Mickey Mouse soap and shower gel and we had the disney channel on constantly and if that wasnt on it was the channel that showed all of the parks. The rooms are equivalent to those on I drive like QIP, QII or Best Western, they have 2 double beds a table and TV the sinks are at one end of the room with the door to the bathroom next to it,very std for that type of hotel in orlando. If you go onto the Pop Century web site it will show you a picture of the room.as you have said you only sleep there you wont be spending much time there

We have stayed at QII and I'm glad to hear that Pop room size is about the same as we are there next year!

The rooms aren't massive, but they do the job! No mickey theming as such, couple of pics, soaps, toiletries etc but the theming ouside of the blocks will be enough for the kids I'm sure.
We stayed in 70's, recommend that.

We stayed at QII last year and found the room sizes perfect for us so they sound as if they will be fine at POP. Thanks for the advice x
Just got back from Pop on the 13th Oct. First time we stayed there. I would say that rooms are slightly bigger than QIl, and far more more modern. We loved it there. We stayed in 70's, block b, room 6314 . Quite close to main area and pop jets if you have kids with you. We used 90's car park as it was closer and I have walking difficulties.
Go down to the bridge over the lake if you get chance. We found a group of Turtles who loved being fed each day !!.
