hey all,
i would really like to stay in staratoga springs, or a boardwalk villa or old key west but am not and DVC member! are you still welcome to stay there or do you HAVE to be a member of DVC?:wavey:

yes you can still stay there, disney still own a small percentage of all the dvc resorts and in turn rent out. some people also rent points of members as it can sometimes work out cheaper

Yes you can but unless you rent points from another dvc member, they are pretty expensive hotels rack rate.

I stayed at OKW this year and am staying at BCV next year. I got AAA rate on them and I find this does not work out too expensive as we go in August the value season. We get the two bedroom villas which are cheaper than two rooms at a deluxe, plus we get the living room/kitchen and laundry :).

do you pay for the villa, per person or per villa.
the reason i want to now this is because as we are going as a large group i would like to know weather it works out cheaper to do a joining rooms somewhere or to book a villa.:wavey:

It's per room/villa

We have paid about £300 per night (depending on exchange rate) for a villa that sleeps 8 at BCV.
