I don't think you will find very much in it. I paid about £15 for a battery on ebay, another £15 for USB connection/travel pack, Memory stick about £25 on ebay and various other bits. They are not cheap but well worth it. I bought them all together as a package then had to buy extras anyway but I would suggest you do a bit of research first by checking out what the extras will cost you - Amazon do all the stuff and then you can see for yourself and make an informed judgement.

I would go for a base pack and with the money saved buy a 1gb memory card for around £30 which would be very useful, you can fit a of your favourite dvd films / lots of music on a card that size which would be usefull when travelling. you can pic up headpones cheap anywhere and if you want a soft pouch you can have mine as i use a hard protective case in case it gets dropped.

The base pack deals are very good we found them to be the bast and got ours before we went to Florida last May . If you get games you don't want the shop GAME will exchange them for you , not always at full value but at least you are not stuck with them.I got memory sticks through amazon 1gb 1 £12 each !

think very carefully about a PSP i am thinking its a bit of a white elephant. the games are very expensive and they are not as many games as they first stated when the console was released. i bought one and yes they are good but have a think about are they going to get the use out of it. sorry to sound negative but thats my opinion
as for the films they are OTT and copying them to memory stick is very time consuming

Have to disagree...The choice of games is HUGE....and it will play games from anywhere so might get some new releases in US that are not out here yet.

I mean how many games can you play at once....there are several good games from each genre...more than enough to keep you happy i think....Sure they are not cheap but you can get them pre-owned in places like GAME and Gamestation and exchange shops.......

Also you can get a 2gb memory stick on Ebay for about £25-30 and thats huge....loads of Photos, MP3 tracks can fit on there....and a good few films.

Would also disagree. If you want a hand held console that does everything then it has to be the PSP.
