Although we haven't been on our December trip yet, thinking of booking All Star Movies next Sept/Oct to take advantage of free dining:grin: Just wondered if this is a noisy resort and also whether it would be suitable for adults only or is it just for families with young kids?

We just returned from ASMo and found it a lovely resort, it will be even nicer when the Fantasia pool rehab is completed.
It is predominantly full of families with younger kids, as you would expect, but there were also plenty of couples and older guests there. We often returned late in the evenings when the grown-ups were enjoying a drink at the pool bar. You wouldn't feel out of place at all in an all adult group.
For the size and layout of the resort we were surprised how quiet it was, there must be good soundproofing. I slept very well which is unusual for me as the slightest sound wakes me at home. A few times we heard something being dropped above or a loo flushing. We were on the ground floor and occasionally we heard the early-birds passing by on their way out in the mornings, but mostly it was very quiet and you would have even less chance of noise if you asked for an upper floor. Our rooms faced away from the pool too which probably minimised the noise.

Just to agree with Lynn. We went in October and had a brilliant time. Staff (sorry cast members) at ASM were superb. We lost a purse with over $200 in it and when we reported it they found it within 1 hr. Minus cash, But the manager kindly credited our room account with $100 !!! We are returning next year also and intend to use free dining. Have a great time.

we stayed there with two teenagers, but found it quite noisy ,from the room next door could here toilte flushing and baby crying most nights. the resort itself was pretty busy too, its probably a good resort if the children are younger but personally we wouldnt stay there again. we prefered the sports out of the budget hotels.

We stayed at ASMu and Pop and I suppose it did get noisy sometimes (mainly in the dining areas) we found it okay as a couple. There is a complete mixture of ages and so providing you are not looking for complete peace and quiet then you should love it.
