There will be endless information on this because golf is a dime a dozen in Orlando. Try this link: golfing (http://www.orlandoinfo.com/golf/)
That website could get you started but know that is just a fraction of the area courses.

One thing to know is that they offer specials for twighlight times so ask for those options. Often it is half the price or at least a significant discount.

If you have an Entertainment Coupon Book (www.entertainment.com) you will see they have a lot of discount options for golf.

I am going to give Highlands Reserve a whirl this time out . Has he played before if not he needs to find a range somewhere first and have a quick lesson or practice.

I am a Highlands Reserve veteran and will be returning in February. It is quite typically British Parkland type course with huge waste bunkers and treacherous greens. That said the service is wonderful. It will cost you about $40 for a round with buggy and club hire i believe is $25. Well worth it. if you are looking for something more Floridian ie loads of water the Ridgewood Lakes is about 10 mins south on the H27 just past the Junction for the I4 , it is similarly priced to Highlands Reserve.

Any more questions please ask

Lots, lets just say at times I can be a golf widow, but he's got the two older kids into it as well, not that they'll be going. Thanx for the info. Jane:thumbs-up

look up www.teebone.com it gives advanced bookings is easy to use and gives profiles and reviews of courses, i used it recently when travelling to florida, played Diamondback (down US 27 then east, about 20 mins drive from Highlands reserve) got really good rates and 1 set of rental clubs free, couldn't recommend it enough, I have also previously played Highlands reserve, ridgewood lakes, Orange lake, out of these Diamondback is without doubt the best and most challenging.
hope this helps:thumbs-up
