We have a Playgolf center near us in Manchester where you can take lessons, its a good idea before you go out on a real course, makes the game a lot easier!

Might be a good idea to find a local driving range near you and get himself a few lessons before you fly out and then he wont look foolish on the first tee as he misses the ball at first attempt. It is harder than it looks especially with people watching you. Loads of good courses in Florida though I love Diamondback and enjoyed playing Greenleefe. Going to give Highlands Reserve a go this time out.

Tell you something Stephen if you love Diamondback like me then you will find Highlands Reserve a total Breeze. Diamondback is the hardest course i have ever played.

I found Diamondback very challenging and the guy I was playing with lost at least a dozen balls I lost 2 in the round and I could actually see one of them but it was in a deep area so I just left it didnt want to disturb the local wildlife. Excellent facilites there and the guy who looked after you at the start was brilliant. Thought I might also give Legends a go as well up the 27:)

Yes played diamondback a couple of weeks ago, a great course very challenging, after that i don't think i will bother going back to highland reserve it's not near as good IMHO, also diamondback have better rates!!

Well worth him belting a few balls up a range and at least having a idea on how to play than looking foolish on first tee with everyone watching. :)
My son enjoyed Falcon's Fire (Sera Lago off the 192) and has previously played Kissimmee Oaks but a month ago played Bay Hill ! ! ! for free ! ! !
Reason - when we were there in March he was a 'volunteer' - did his 20 hours and 'earned' a round of golf and a meal in the club house. Only thing was they didn't say at the time you could only play between May and October! So - I keep a watchful eye on flight prices and when Thompson were down to £5.22 booked ! OK - had to add taxes but for the 3 of us it was under £450 - plus £20 for his clubs.
Funnily enough he was paired up with a guy from Bolton!

If hubby is a beginner then Highlands Reserve is a good choice. The course isn't as challenging as some of the others which should prove less frustrating for him!

As has been said I would have some lessons over here, before just going straight on to an Orlando course. But when he does play, I would also recommend Highland reserve as ther is No water on this course so less chance of losing too many balls!:D
