I must admit, I have not been to Wet n Wild for a few years as Typhoon Lagoon is top of my list for Waterparks! Wet n Wild is more for children (slides ect...) And Typhoon Lagoon has more for adults to do (beach area, river going round ect...) Wet n Wild may have changed over the last few years though......
We also found that it was alot busier because it is on International Drive...

We have always enjoyed Wet & Wild in the past we have not visited for the past 2 years but have always had a great day when we have gone, i think the way that disney now sells there tickets to the UK market with 7 & 14 day passes which now include the Disney water parks means that a lot more people are using the Disney water parks

We've been to WnW for the past two years and whilst it isn't Disney its a good way to spend a day without too much walking. We had 5 park flexi tickets which maent WnW was included.

We thought that wet'n'wild has better slides (with the exception of a few such as the lazy river and the crush'n'gusher perhaps) than Typhoon Lagoon, but the theming, scenery, surroundings and atmosphere was better at Typhoon Lagoon.

I have an annual weekday pass which is much cheaper than the Disney waterparks. I don't think it is up to disney standard but it makes for a relaxing morning and then onto shopping at the malls or Universal for the afternoon or evening. My boys love 'The Bomb Bay' which is a vertical rocket slide that drops you through a trap door - not for me though!

I like to walk straight passed all the crowds who congregate around the wave pool area and sit on the 'beach' at the rear of the park. There are picnic tables amd umbrellas and tends to be a lot quieter.

I like to get in early and grab a deckchair near the lake, there is a little bit of beech there and the burger place is just behind, chill out and plug in to the ipod in between floating around the lazy river now and again.

Hate it!
Love slides and rides, but I thought Wet and Wild was grubby and all concrete and steel. Did the big shutes etc and left. No intention of ever going back.

I think Wet and Wild is great for all of the family. If you are staying on I drive then it is really handy, esp. if you have flex tickets.

It does what it says on the box...........its a water park but it dosen't have the disney characters/theme etc

Personally, I hae always liked wet and Wild, its worth a visit......has some great adult rides.

Wet n Wild is great!! Perfect as stated by "icatqman" if you have flex tickets. It does however, lack some of the "theme" of the Disney waterparks.

We went to W&W 3 times using our flex ticket last month and loved it. They have some good slides plus the lake for wake boarding etc. We have previously been to TL and loved that also. If I had to choose? TL I think just because it is Disney.

it is ideal for colder months as the water is heated - we went in jan and found we could do most of the things, went to the disney water parks and the water was freezing but the park well themed and ideal for sunbathing as there are several sun traps:)

Agree with you, we only stayed there for about 3 hours when we went last week but spent the whloe day at typhoon lagoon.

Dont rate wet and wild that highly
