If you book direct with dc you can pay a deposit and the balance is taken
from your credit card 28 days before your swim date.

May is not a particularly busy time - especially before Memorial Day weekend so you should be ok leaving the booking later. If in doubt - go on the website and start the booking process (don't worry you can cancel it all before you get to the pay stage!) and then you will see the availability at this stage for May - if everyday is still free, then I would leave it until you can afford to pay.
If you are worried and want to be sure of a reservation, could you get and be strict with one of those 0% on purchases credit cards and pay it off within the six months, thereby spreading the cost.

I booked direct with dc via their website but wasnt given an opportunity to just pay a deposit ,I got charged forthe whole thing, however we go in April and it is on dd2's birthday so I wanted to make sure we got that date.
really looking forward to it as we haven't been before:smile:

We had this experience too - we've paid the full amount for our swim on 1 April 07. don't really mind, once it's paid it's paid isn't it?
Can't wait:grin:
