Can't see anything on their website that says you can't but $179 is a lot of money (IMO) for just the other facilities.

There is a requirement for at least one person to do the swim. Personally I can't see it is really worth going if you don't, wouldn't a day at another water park be just as nice and a lot cheaper.
If you go to the online reservations page of their website, it says "Online booking requires at least one dolphin experience per reservation." Not sure if that applies also to telephone bookings.

We have been a couple of times and not done the dolphin swim....there is an option for this where as a few years ago 1 of your party had to do the swim.

Hi, In the Virgin brochure they offer prices for a swim and non swim package, so I assume that you dont need to swim - the swim price is £180 or non swim £118 (Mar-Oct), its cheaper at other times.
However I've never been and therefore never booked this so I dont know if there are conditions when you come to book it.
