Hi there. I have a son who will be 18 after xmas this year.
James has Cystic Fibrosis and Hamophillia B.
Do any of you have teenagers or young adults with life threatening conditions, who have to attend the hospital regularly ?.
This a just an enquiry for advice because my son has refused to attend the hospital for the past 10 months.
I am quite happy for somone to pm me if they do not want to post on the forum.

Hi Jan

I have CF and like your son went through a stage of not wanting to attend hospital check ups when i was about 18/19 though not for as long as 10 months, its not that i didnt want to keep well or anything i was just sick of the sight of the place to be honest, even now i only have appontments every 3 to 4 months for most of the time.
If you have any questions or want soem advice feel free to PM me anytime
