It's that time to plan that trip to Florida!

I've managed to narrow down WDW hotels but just wondered what you DIBBers thought when you've stayed at the ones highlighted. We are spltiing the holiday up with a few days hotel, a week in a villa, followed by a few days back in a hotel. Both boys have a birthday while we are away and thought it would be brilliant to have The Magic on those days.

My choices are:

Port Orleans French Quarter - Definitely staying there.
Caribbean Beach - Undecided as yet but leaning towards it.
Corondo (sp?) - Undecided again

What do you think? Pros and cons?

Thanks in advance :wavey:

We're staying in CBR again next year as we really enjoyed it's central location and of course the resort itself.

This year we stayed in 3 different resorts which did make our holiday seem longer although I don't think we would do 3 again, maybe just 2.

Hi

I had a choice between Coronado Springs and Carribean Beach this year and chose Coronado.

It was great and i believe i made the right choice.

Our rooms were good, stayed in Ranchos 7b which was a great location. 2 mins to main pool, a quiet pool right outside our block and also the laundry.

I read reviews with people complaining about the size of the resort but CB is just as big and its not that long a walk, i persoanlly think some people are just a wee bit lazy ! Also if you are restricted in your ability to walk you can request a certain room near el centro if you wish plus there are buggies driving about all the time and they are there to give you a lift if needed.

Themeing in the hotel is lovely.

A beautiful pool at the dig site, volleyball courts right next to it as well as a great swing park for the kids.

The buses were also never too busy and i was there in mid july ! Also another great thing i didnt know about, the Coroando Springs bus stop for getting the bus back is always one of the first and at the Magic Kingdom IT IS the first !!! You can watch wishes then leave Main Street and be on the first bus back before all the queues build up.

I cant fault it one bit. Also the bus stop was right outside our block as well.

One other thing, its a convention resort so the food court can sometimes be busy but thats the only con i can find.

Wherever you choose have a great holiday

Check out this web page from a member on another forum i use, great site.
