i stayed at the Ambassador hotel and country club fantastic place that was in the 80s
its now the Robert F Kennedy Memorial parkway its on Wiltshire Boulevard

I usually use a website like Trip Advisor to get a general idea of what is out there in the area i want, and then just search on Yahoo for which website has the best deal pricewise for the ones i am interested in.

What about the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills??? It's the one they used in Pretty Woman and it's a beautiful hotel, trouble is, its a bit pricey!!!...lol.
