Best Place to See Magic Kingdom Fireworks (for free!)

Went to Chef Mickey's (Contemporary Resort) last night and after spending a little time in the shops we saw lots of people running over to the fire escape under the Monorail when the fireworks started so we followed. This led out onto a Balcony which overlooked Magic Kingdom and was within a very short walking distance of Space Mountain. It was a fantastic location being much higher and less crowded. True you miss out on the music of being insude the parks but never the less the view being lightly higher was fantastic, coupled with the lack of ques getting out the park and back to the car was also a big plus!

another place is on the top deck of the ferry, again no music but you get a nice view without the crowds

We had the same view from our room balcony every night ;) It was fantastic.

Another great place, sans music, is the beach at the Polynesian Hotel which gives a great view over the lake to MK and the fireworks.

You get an incredible view form the consiege lounge at the poly and they dim the lights and put on the music too....not exactly free but wow a lovely location!!!
