:mickey: I'm not into BIG rides and I'm wondering wheres best for me. I enjoy the water rides and wooden coasters. I'm not really into spinning rides but I dont mind them loads. Swinging ships(that dont go right over) are great and i'm looking foward to riding a few! And does anyone know about skull kingdom? Is it closed? i really want to go there!:mickey:

By what I have read so far myself (first timer too), I think each park has something for everyone. It is a case of searching through each park. This is such and exciting part of planning your trip - getting to know all about the parks before you go, so you know which ones you will love and those you are likely to hate.

to be honest each park will suit you this includes universal and ioa as well.
best thing you can do is get a copy of a florida book (i recommend a brits guid to orlando (in WHS)) it will tell you all about the parks and what rides there isone thing to try though is tower of terror in mgm studios (even if its only once)

It was open in Sept 06 when we were there. It's not for the faint hearted though especially at night. My DS19 went in with my DB (DS had been in before so knew what to expect) That is scary characters jumping out at you, and being chased by a man with a chain saw!

Agreed most parks have a selection of rides/attractions which will suit anyone. I feel Magic Kingdom is the tame one of the bunch but has the most magic. I dont think you will find any swinging ships im afraid unless anyone begs to differ! Most rides in Orlando particularly disney ones are not rides as we know it in the UK they are experiences. For example you are very much mistaken if you think splash mountain is just another log flume....trust me you wont want to miss it!!!
