Great choices, except no Chef Mickey's?
Where's Big River Grille, haven't heard of that one.
Tracey - We did Chef Mickey's in November so have decided to give it a miss this time! There were so many fabulous places to chose from it wasn't an easy choice, but we are going back in April 2008 (first DVC stay) so Chef Mickey's will be high on the list then!
Big River Grill is at The Boardwalk!
Leanne - i'll leave Jojo & Goliath to you this time! ;)
Looks ok to me hun, the only thing i would say is that the big river grille is just ok:erm: i had the tomato based pasta which to be honest wasn't as good as what i make at home (and i aint no cook!) and DH had the steak and he wasn't impressed at all, it wasn't just a one off as we went again and it was the same:( , if i were you i would go to the espn and give DH a treat as he will love the sports theme;) and then pop to the ice-cream shop for desert.
The kona cafe is wonderful and the food is delish:tounge: , oh and the sci fi is the best place we went to purely for the fun.....our waitress had DD washing all the cars cos she wouldn't eat her vegetables:pgig: :pgig:
We had dinner at both resturant Marakesh and Tepanyaki, Tepanyaki came out the best with all the family. One of the highlights of our holiday. Just a thought.
julie:grin:
Andi - DH isn't too keen on the Big River idea (it was my choice) so i think i'll reconsider that one! Thanks Hun! :thumbs-up
Jewel - I'd forgotten about Tepanyaki! It's definately worth considering! DD (10) was absolutely fascinated by Japan when we went to WS last year! We spent ages there and one of the CM's noticed DD's interest and dressed her up in a full kimono! She was thrilled and can't wait to get back there! I think she'd really enjoy eating there!
My children aged 5,7 and 15 cant stop talking about it. They thought it was brilliant our chef was really interactive with them. We shared the table with a lovely family from Boston. The huge shop underneath the resturant was a hit with all of us too they had little kitty for the girls and manga and pokemon for the boys. I was also fascinated by the clocks they have for sale there.

If i remember rightly there is only a choice of 2 desserts:omg:
, as far as i am concerned that is a good enough reason not to go;) , trust me he will love ESPN V even if he doesn't like sport as it is a really good atmosphere.
