We've all been talking about our ADR's for later this year:spin: :spin: and my list is coming along. But what happens if on any day, we change our plans, or choose a different park to visit - can we cancel ADR's, and choose somewhere else? If you don't turn up for any reason - do you need to notify them and if so, how far in advance.

Is there any financial penalty for a no show - or is that just for CRT, etc. :wavey: :wavey:

So far have chosen:

Resturant Marrakesh
50's Prime Time Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe
Coral Reef
Liberty Tree Tavern
Le Cellier
Boma
Crystal Palace Character Breakfast

These are definates and maybe would like some suggestions as to eating at the resorts in the evenings of non-disney park visits, such as a Seaworld day.:wavey:

You can certainly change your mind... many people just don't turn up, and as far as I know there are no penalties... but if you know you can't make it, or run late, it is good manners to advise the venue (direct, or via any guest services or on the booking number)

You may not be able to secure an alternative at the same venue at busy times though, so fine-tune your plans as much as you can.

Exactly as Mike says, watch though for any restaurants or activities you have to leave a credit card number as security, these often have 48 hour cancellation policies or there is a financial penalty.

You don't have to let them know, but I always try to so that someone else can have the booking.

If you want CRT, don't expect to be able to change your plans easily though. Sure you can cancel until quite close to the day without any cost, but you probably won't get an alternative date.

You may want to think about making more bookings than you really need, and then cancel some out when your plans firm up - but please do think about other people trying to get bookings too, and make sure you cancel as early as you reasonably can, rather than hogging unneeded bookings.

Thanks for your replies - I don't intend to cancel any - but just in case of illness or bad weather, that may force park changes, I was worried what the protocol was. I would definately let them know, as I realise there are long waiting lists for some venues.

Can you change/change ADR's at guest services in your hotel? We are staying at POR.:wavey:

Definately, from your room, you just pick up the phone and there is a button with a fork and knife symbol and this will put you through to Dining Reservations no worries,.
