Actually i don't feel so relieved they have emailed me just now and the guy i spoke to had not a clue what he was doing ! They had taken the full amount even though it was to be deposit only .Apparently they then refunded it and the guy said they took a 20 % deposit as we had booked discovery cove tickets with them ! BUT WE HAVEN'T ! They had mixed us up with someone with the same surname .He then said the balance was £435 but it was over £900 .Then he said they had taken 10% . I said no sorry i have lost confidence get your manager to call me .She did i said i was unhappy i said i wanted to know what was going on and she said they took 20 % .I said that the website only stated 10 % but she said these were special tickets ! I have recieved emails from them from 2 different addys now ???? Sunstyle and theme park tickets ! They said they will email me now all the errors and promise to send me the tickets as soon as they are paid for ( they said feb but i pointed ot i wouldnt have paid for them till March durrrrrrrrrr !) I don't know should i cancel them and go elsewhere ?

depends on what the price difference is between them and your alternative supplier .........

errors and confusion can occur, and if they are getting a lot of orders in, but it is your confidence and your money at the end of the day honey.

Why dont you cancel your order and go to Orlando ticket deals? I think they are a sister company of ATD and they get good reviews. They are priced at £59 which i think is £2 more than the company you are currently using but £2 cheaper than ATD.

You never know either OTD or ATD may price match and you will feel more confident with these companies i think.

Just my opinion.:)

I am also deciding who to buy from at the mo.

We used them last year, no probs at all.

We ordered ours in July, took a while and had to email them as I had'nt received them within their stated 2 week delivery time. They said they were awaiting delivery of the 2007 tickets. As we're not going til September, we didn't mind waiting a little longer:tounge: , they finally arrived about 3 weeks later but still had 2006 printed on the back of them:erm:

We didn't mind too much as they were the cheapest we could find but think we'll try someone else next time:)

we ordered ours wit virgin with our oliday + d/c tickets so they were all done togeter. - do these other sites get them cheaper then?

Leanne1977
6 Jan 07, 12:54 PM
You will find that Virgin will be more expensive than other companies. We ordered our 14 day ultimates from them and they were certainly more expensive but it was a condition of getting the free dining so we didnt mind.:) We also got 10% off them as we are flying club members(its free to join).

You can get some cheap prices for tickets if you shop around but you hear so many horror stories about various companies that sometimes its worth it to pay a little extra for the peace of mind.

Attraction Tickets Direct seems to get the best reviews in my opinion.

I am sure it will all be fine but now you have two people to blame if it does go wrong - the ticket company and poor old DH,

I can see it now - told you so didnt I but ooooooohhhhh noooooooo who ever listens to carys eh - i mean what would she know ;)

Let us know how you get on, Carys.

Ordered all our tickets from them on 31/12 as they were a good deal and saw them mentioned in the 'Brit's Guide' - I'll let you know how I get on.

Fingers crossed for us both, eh! :confused2

I booked mine last week from attraction tickets direct, booked via internet on 31st dec, got them at last years prices even though the offer finished 30th Dec. They arrived yesterday by special delivery. I phoned to order an extra splash proof wallet and thought I would be cheeky & ask for one of the free fabulously loaded rucksacks they are now giving away. She said even though it is only for new bookings in the new year she would gladly send me one.

As a novice traveller to Florida I have no experience of any other agents but am thrilled with the service from ATD.

I would say for the sake of piece of mind abandon the other booking and go with someone you can trust, but it is a personal choice.

We got our tickets from ATD and they were great. Price matched with Theme park tickets direct. The tickets arrived promptly and we got the free phone card, splash proof wallet and voucher for Florida Mall coupon book.

We ordered our tickets from them and didn't have any problems

We did have to wait a little longer for 2007 tickets but I guess that's the same anywhere and what we saved we didn't mind at all (we're a group of 10 so it made a big difference)

Hi Carys
Dont know if youre still looking at this thread but you could still get the same prices at ATD - i did on Thurs - price matched to Theme park tickets didnt get any freebies though - couldnt get both price match and freebie. Depends on whether you what the hassle of cancelling. ATD let you pay deposit also. Hope it ends ok

Hi Carys:wavey:

In the days before discovering the the dibb we bought tickets from themepark tickets direct as they were the cheapest (didn't realise that ATD price matched). We got great service but it was just for the 14 day ultimates and last minute so paid in full at the time of buying (found receipt the other day when I dug out passport wallets etc). There was once a bad thread on here about a company with a very similar name & it made me think but def not the same companies.

REAL TICKETS/REAL FAST.

Only problem was my sons had to fight over who got the ticket with Cinderella & Prince Charming on!

DON'T WORRY....BE HAPPY...:pgig:

Well they sent me confirmation on tickets and they got one of the tickets wrong again. Got an apology the next day in writing so maybe i have just been unlucky. We are paying in full in February for May and i have said i want them delivered as soon as they are paid for and they said they would. I feel much better for hearing some of you guys have had a good result . Thanks everyone !

Hi Carys.

We ordered our Universal tickets with these on 7th Jan. We paid in full and were told they would be delivered in 10 days.

It will be 10 days tomorrow. DH phoned them today just to check our order and the lady said they were posted out this morning and should be with us tomorrow.

I will let you know if and when they arrive.:thumbs-up

have used them before they was ok,last year though they were rubbish tickets did not arrive before my travel date even though i had given them 2 months notice, had to pick them up at hotel on arrival which meant a very uncomfortable flight hoping they were going to be there.....i would maybe still use again as they were cheapest but i would make sure the date i gave them for departure was at least 3 weeks before i was leaving

Hope it all works out for you Carys.
I am less worried about saving a few quid than getting what I want (tickets not vouchers etc). Always use ATD and they have always been great - and not really different in price to anyone else!
