?? Annual Pass!!

Hi! We are planning to go to disney twice in the year. Is it worth us buying annual passes, if so where is best to buy from??

We bought Annual passes for Disney last year as we went in Sept and are returning in April this year. I would say it is well worth it as you get free parking at all the Disney parks which is a saving of $10 per day x 14 days then x 2 holidays so I would say well worth it just for that. You also get discounts on food and merchandise but not in all shops and restaurants. You have to ask at the store or restaurants.

We booked and paid for an illumiations cruise at Epcot then found out afterwards that we could have got 20% off if we had told them we had annual passes!!!

We got ours direct from Disney - I don't think you can get them anywhere over here. Go to Disney.com and follow the links or do a search for annual passes and just give them a ring.

You will need to buy APs direct from Disney, either when you arrive or as a voucher ordered online or by phone which you exchange for the real thing when you arrive.
There are lots of discounts to be had on resorts, dining, tours and merchandise. A search will bring up the current list. Free parking is also a good perk if you are staying offsite. Using it for 2 trips you should at least break even or better if you take advntage of the perks.

We have just booked Annual Passes for 2007 as we are going twice.

We booked in Dec 2006 due to the good rate and before any price increase. It is definately better value for money than buying the 14 day Ultimate tickets that my husband and I normally buy.

As far as I know you can only buy direct from Disney, we have received an exchange certificate that we need to take to WDW to obtain our actual annual pass.
