Haven't posted here in ages (unfortunately, real life has got in the way). Anyway, I'm back into planning mode (albeit a little late) for our trip to Orlando in Feb.

We are staying 5 nights at Boardwalk Villas, using rented DVC points, but need an off-site hotel for our last 2 nights (Fri and Sat). Ideally, we would like to pay no more than £100 (all in) per room per night. Don't really want anything too posh but, by the same token, don't want too much of a 'come down' from BWV either ;)

Anyone got any recommendations? By the way, location is not really an issue as we'll have a car - as long as it's got a bar really :d:

The Crowne Plaza is very nice and around £60 per room per night, and may be cheaper than when we went as it was May. The other on we considered was the Raddisson at Celebration, as i like Raddisson hotels, but my cousin had points for free nights at the Crowne Plaza so that helped our decision. :pgig:

Why not try the Swan or Dolphin, it's just across the way from the Boardwalk, and definitely not a come-down so you will feel right at home. If you go to www.swandolphin.com you will find the telephone number to ring and book, as you usually get a better deal than booking online. If you have AAA, Annual Pass, or are a teacher, they have special rates.

We really loved the Royal Plaza at Downtown Disney, not too pricy but still well worth it's 4* rating and an easy walk to DTD and Crossroads for eating/shopping/entertainment. Almost onsite but not quite.

BTW you are going nowhere till you finish those October trippies ;)
