Hi folks
I am buying Disney tickets for a visit to Disneyland, Paris in the summer.

Presently, one of the party is aged 11, therefore a child, but by the time we visit will be 12, adult as far as Disney are concerned.

Do you think it would be ok to buy a child ticket now, or do they check on date of birth, with proof, on first use of ticket?

Disney rules are that the ticket is appropriate for the person on first day of use, from what you have said that means that an adult ticket will be required.

I would buy the adult ticket! It's not worth the hassle or worry of being found out!

At DLP 'adult' prices start at age 12, WDW is age 10 :)

i'm pretty sure(it's a good few years since my daughter was under disney child age shes 15) that when we ordered tickets the ones they send out are all the same adults and children, i'm sure i remember our daughter picking which ticket she wanted, so i cant see how they will find out, plus when you have tickets nobody checks ages when entering the parks so i would think you would have no chance of being found out.

Under the conditions of entry to the Parks, everyone aged 12 and over has to have an adult ticket.

This applies to the first day of use of the ticket
