Sales Tax

We are off to orlando soon, can anyone please tell me what the sales tax in Florida is? Are things priced in the shops with the tax already included like here or will it be added at the till?:confused2 Sorry to sound dumb :blush: we have never been before and I have heard that we will have to add tax to the prices on the items, which is ok but I have no idea how much that is!!!:confused2 Any info would be of great help! Thanks

Hi! Sales tax will only be added at the till. it is 6% but depending on which county you are in when you are buying there may be an extra 1%.

:wave: yes 6% in florida:wave: you can claim this back but it is a long and time consumming job most poeple dont bother inculding myself:wave:

I always forget this one, I get all excited when I see the price tag and forget it will be more when I pay at the till. That said though even with the tax they are still a lot cheeper than the UK.
