The Wilderness Lodge is is near to Magic Kingdom isn't it? Do they run a disney bus service there or can you only get there by boat?
How long does the boat take and roughly how many can it seat?
Thanks

The boat is pretty good, small ferry boat which can take several dozen people, not sure of exact capacity though. Nice way to get to MK.
Buses are available, but you share with the Poly & GF from memory - and going to the parks you stop off at the other hotels on the way.

I will let you know how long it is in September Tracey if you can wait that long;) LOL
We did get one over to the MK but to be honest we took no notice of the time it took, we were enjoying the view, watching the parasailers.

There are two boats from WL the small one goes to the other resorts - Fort Wilderness and the Contemporary (you could walk to the MK from there) and that holds about 20 or so people The larger boat goes to the MK (also via Fort Wilderness) and holds a lot more people. You don't have to wait long for a boat and I think there is a timetable so you could make sure you were at the dock at the right time. We were there at Christmas when it was very busy in the parks but we always got on the boats with no problems. The other option is to take a bus which doesn't take long either.
WL is a great resort for getting to and from the Magic Kingdom.

Andre we have stayed at WL 3 times and the first 2 times we did not share buses with anybody. At Xmas we noticed a big change and we did share buses - sometimes with Fort Wilderness (departing WL) and sometimes with GF (leaving parks). We did not share at all with the Poly - although I wouldn't be certain that they never have:confused2
