Haven't been in Feb but have been in March and there was hail and slush (snow in the mountain) I would suggest 'layers' as I don't think the weather will be great but it'll allow for a fine day.

Been in November once, was warm during the day, cooler of an evening (desert weather!) and also been in August - 105 in the shade:eek:

We went in late March and during the day it was lovely, but as it's in the desert, when the sun went down, it got very cold.

We went in Feb last year and the weather was great, in the evning you will need a light coat or jumper, but during the day we wore t/shirts and jeans and just carried a mac just in case.

No idea sorry, but very envious, we went in May 1999 and it was 107 most days apparently 10 degrees hotter than usual. Lovely and airconditioned in the casinos though. Have a great time.

Im off on the 7th!! see you there.

According to weather.com its going to be high 60s low 70s which should mean its nice weather for walking round in, think ill take a light coat and a few jumpers too as I imagine it will get colder at night.

If you don't like the weather you can just move from one hotel/casino to the next without venturing outside.lol.

thanks for that jester, will definitely wrap up warm at night. Did the renovations at Luxor cause many problems for you? Sue

Thought the renovation work was at the Excalibur not the Luxor - am interested in this too as my sister is staying at the Luxor in March.

Still doing work in the foyer / reservation area does not cause a great deal of disruption unless you are (we were) in a room that side and you want a lay in the morning they did start welding early some days.

Beware of the walk fron the lifts they go on for ever only 1 lift per floor
