View Full Version : New York - Las Vegas - home
Has anyone flown to NY, then on the Las Vegas and then home? How did you go about booking this and were you penalised for 2 one way trips?

We flew Las Vegas - Orlando - home. It was arranged as one through journey and turned out only very slightly more expensive than a direct return fliight to orlando. We flew direct with Virgin to Las Vagas, Delta to Orlando and home with Virgin. Hope this helps a bit
That does thanks. Did you book the Delta flight yourself or did Virgin do it for you?

try web sites such as opodo, expedia or travelocity - these have multi-stop options and you enter all the locations/dates and they search for the cheapest option.
we got a great deal from travelocity going from vegas to two hawaii islands and then to LA.

no pressure honey, just an offer if you want it ....
Thanks Val, I have loads of upcoming things I will want you to quote for, just can't afford the outlay at the moment. Like 2 trips to Florida! This is for my son and his wife, though I would love to do the trip too!! I have emailed them to tell them.

I've flown London - Las Vegas - NY - London. It costs me £365 with United Airlines, and the stop in NYC was free. I booked it myself with Travelbag.

Last year we flew Aberdeen - Gatwick-Las Vegas - Nashville - Gatwick Aberdeen. I booked it on the American Airlines web-site and thought the price was great at £490 ( we pay more than this just to fly to Orlando and back on British Airways). Definitely worth a look at their web-site to see what sort of price is coming up for comparison with other options.

Hi
In 2005 we flew Las Vegas, then New York & home
We went with Continental Airlines & booked through Getaway Holidays
As Virgin are the only airline which fly direct to Vegas (I think!), we would have had to get 2 flights there and back anyway.
Going over to Vegas we connected at Cleaveland & coming home instead of just connecting at New York, we spent a long weekend there and then a straight flight home.
I don't think we got penalised at all for the stop over in New York..as the airline could not fly us direct home from Vegas anyway. So it was like a free stop over
