Hi, Can anyone please tell me what day the car parade is on in the old town.

Anyone any reviews on this

fridays and saturdays they are on, fridays are the newer cars and the best day is saturday with all the hotrods and stuff, i love it there and go every trip :)

We have been to see this a few times over the years - its great
We usually go in the afternoon and look round some of the cars (they are on display - or rather some are) then have a meal and go back and watch the parade

we get there quite early to have a look around the shops and stuff, i would say around 6 for parking as far as i can remember as the car parade starts at 8.30, if you get there early you can walk around all the cars and have a look at them before it gets dark[mind you we go in oct so it gets dark early then]

SAt night is the better nght to go. Cars do start to arrive in the afternoon and most are there by 6pm. Get there early as parking is at a premium on Saturdays, especially in the busier periods.
What we tend to do is park over the other side of the 192 at the Denny's carpark, and then walk [well, more of a sprint really,lol]across the 192 and into Old Town. That way we go about 7.30pm, have a look at the cars on display and then around 8.30 they do the cruise up the middle of Old Town.
I never miss going to at least one Sat Nite Cruise each trip. 2/300 cars built before 1973. My kind of relaxation.

If you like bikes, then Thursday is superb. We went last April and there where hundreds of them.
