have done a quick search but have been unable to find the answer out-when you have your swim experience, how many people are usually in the group?
I ask because when we go there will be 7 of us in our swim group so was thinking possibly we would have the dolphin to ourselves, rather than be part of a larger group?
Chances are it will just be your family. There are 5 of us and we were joined by a couple.

I think i read somewhere it was groups of 8, so i dont suppose they'll add anyone else on if there are already 7 in your group!

I'm sure I read 8 per group on one of the threads somewhere too. :)

we had a group of 8 four in my family 3 in another and a little girl on her own having a birthday treat while mum and dad watched from the edge
in all probability you are likely to have a group on your own I should think, but it may be possible an odd one could join you as did for us.
The time of the swim is allocated on arrival in the morning, pretty much first come first served - we arrived at 8am and there were already quite a few people ahead of us, we had a dolphin encounter at 9.30, but i think if we had wanted later we could have requested it, i seem to remember that if you really want a specific time you can call upto 24hrs earlier to reserve a slot

Think you will find it would just be your group. We were a 3 and joined by a family of 4. The DVD we bought has a lot of this family on it.... and not much of us!!

I'm sure the maximum is 8 so unless there is a lone swimmer, you will probably have a dolphin all to yourselves :D
I was swimming on my own last year and was joined on to a family of seven so like the other posts say you might get an extra person added on. You might be in luck though.:)
The groups are usually about 8 unless you are extremely lucky as we were last year!! The other family scheduled for the swim didn't turn up so we 4 got "Scarlet" the dolphin all to ourselves. The dvd and photos are fantastic! Just our family on them!
