LV Distance help [Archive]

Can anyone give me a rough distance guide from LV to Lake Tahoe in Reno ?

Thinking of driving there on our trip in March.

I would guess its about a 9-10 hour drive. May be even more so as you will need to drive through in the high sierras and some of the routes could be impassable in March.

Might give it a miss as it was just for the scenery and snow in Heavenly really !
