need help toronto hotels???

hi all, anyone stayed in toronto? where would be a cheap hotel (but nice) maybe with free breakfast, just looking at the moment wondered if anyone had any tips. end of oct so i think it could be cold is that right?

We are staying at the Bond Place Hotel at the end of May. It seems to be a good hotel and central to everything. We were given it on the package we are going on (achieved through my work so beggars can't be choosers and as long as it's clean and comfortable I don't mind!). Will let you know what it's like when we get home!

We stayed in the Courtyard by Marriott. Good clean friendly hotel with a good sized room (we were in a corner so I am not sure if that made a difference)It was walking distance to most places and close to a subway stop (it was uphill to get back so we used to walk down the hill in the morning and get the subway back!)
