WE would like to choose one more signature restaurant (we will be on the free DDP) and can't decide between these three :confused2
Could I have your recommendations please (or any other signature restaurant).
We already plan to eat at The Yachtsman's Steakhouse and California Grill. DH is not a big fish eater so not considering Flying Fish. :spin:

We have picked Narcoossees for a few reasons. It is close to the Neverland Club for the children and it appealed to us to eat at the Grand Floridian. The menu looked really nice and we are really looking forward to seeing Wishes from the viewing deck outside during our meal.
I have only recently found out that Artist Point was a signature restaurant. Their menu also looks great. I have read a few reviews recently on another forum (sorry:blush: ), and there wasnt a bad one there. A lot of the reviews seemed to suggest it is one of the best on-site restaurants.
I don't have any idea about Citricos so i can't comment.
Have you looked at the menus? Maybe just pick the restaurant whose menu appeals most. I don't think you will go far wrong with any of them.
Happy eating!!

I havent been to narcoossees or citricos unfortunately :-(
Maybe next time :-) We went to Artist's Point when we stayed at VWL . DD6 went to The Bear's Den. The restaurant service was very attentive , The food was fine, I loved DH's scallops , my buffalo was ok but the accompaniments to it seemed unremittingly sweet. The berry cobbler was delicious. My favourite part was the flight of wines including ice wine hic  Unfortunately DD was very tired at that stage of the holiday and I felt quite anxious about her. Soon after we had finished eating The Bear's Den contacted us to say DD felt unwell and we immediately returned to collect her. Dd soon felt better and I felt doubly re-assured about the quality of the care offered by disney kid's clubs but I did feel like a meanie for having left her even though she was adamant that was what she wanted :-( Bloomin' kids !
I think Narcoosees just had the edge on the food, but Citricos is quieter and more romantic.
They are both on the list for us next time.
Paul had an awful veggie meal at AP a couple of years ago and we haven't been back. My salmon was tasty though!
I've done both Ciricos and Artist's Point in the lasy year and have to say I was very disappointed by Artist's Point - there was a 30 minute delay on our ADR time , we were given seats in a pokey corner near the entrance and then to top it off the food was fairly average - over cooked buffalo steak , the venison spring rolls didn't have much flavour , however the cobbler was fantastic
On the other hand when we dined at Citricos I really did feel as if we were at a top restaurant - the service was attentive , the surroundings were fantastic and the food was fab - top quality steaks
I know Artists Point is highly rated elsewhere and maybe we caught it on a bad night but I wouldn't rush back in a hurry
What about Jikos at Animal Kingdom Lodge we are fairly conservative eaters but had a great meal there in January ?
Cheers :d:

Citros is our favorite......excellent service and the food is outstanding...a suggestion....request to be seated in the far dining area by a window...and get there so you can view the MK fireworks right at you seat...it is fabulous as you look right down the waterway to the Castle....enjoy

We stayed at the grand floridian last sep/oct,we enjoyed a few meals in citrico,s and narcoossee's,I would say narcoossee's is in a nice setting by the ferry jetty and a lovely view of wishes with the soundtrack played in the restaurant.Citrico's is more dressy while narcoossee's more relaxed, food in both was delicious. Our favourite restaurants this time were the california grill and the brown derby. We took DS7 and DD4 out to some of these restaurants without any problems but if you want a quiet meal use the mickey mouse kids club at the GF or try kids nite out babysitters they are fab!:wavey:

We are going to try Narcoossee's it just looked nice and lobster is something I enjoy but rarely get.
Have been to both Citricos and Artist Point twice and have never had a bad meal at either.
We go as a family with DD 9 to Artist Point as it is less formal and a little bit more child friendly than Citricos whilst we go as a couple to Citricos with DD staying in The Mousekeeters Club in GF which she loves.
Either of these would be a good choice.

Thank you for your replies. Keep em' coming ;)
I think I am warming towards Citricos, as it is just me and DH this time.
I just need to find a couple of good TS breakfasts now. We have Boma on our list and are looking for 2 more. Characters are not essential. Buffets are preferred, but not essentia,l but good food is top of my list of priorities.:tounge:
I loved Artist Point - the best Pork Chop I have ever eaten and the Portobello Soup was to die for. BUT, DH had a problem with his Buffalo Sirloin, in his case undercooked and cold, they would not cook it past medium either, excuse me - who is eating it??
From this thread, it seems - avoid the Buffalo whatever way you like it!
Not tried the others but we did a sweep of the menu's when we were choosing our ADR's - both looked too "fussy" and arty for me and DH. AP seemed a more down to earth menu.
BUT, having loved most of the restaurants on our DDP - would definitely try the others you are considering - too much choice!
