Its pronounced kiss-a-deer. DH's aunt used to make them for us when we went to San Diego. i make my own now, its dead easy, just buy some flour tortillas, add your filling, fold over and fry in a frying pan with a tiny bit of oil. I use kraft cheese slices in mine mmmmmmm

I don't tend to eat chinese food too often, but that Bourbon Chicken is to die for. I was offered a sample when looking around the food court at Mall of Millenia and promptly bought myself a plateful. Had some more at the Florida Mall later in the hols.

Why can't you get it at takeaways back home I wonder, it seemed to be everywhere over there!

The prawns had a lovely smoky and slightly spicy taste which hit a few seconds after the initial chew. As you can see, they were extremely messy to eat, but lots of fun :tounge:

No doubt other Dibbers will come along with many others. :)

The carrot cake is really devine! I was absolutely stuffed before I started dessert, and thought that I could not manage a dessert!

Every mouthful was heaven, mixed with a groan though being full to bursting.

I don't tend to eat chinese food too often, but that Bourbon Chicken is to die for. I was offered a sample when looking around the food court at Mall of Millenia and promptly bought myself a plateful. Had some more at the Florida Mall later in the hols.

Why can't you get it at takeaways back home I wonder, it seemed to be everywhere over there!

My DS realised that you could eat for free just on bourbon chicken if you played your cards right!
There are usually at least 2 chinese outlets at each Mall, so he could do the rounds once in a cap, then again without a cap, then again with the cap on back to front, and finally without a cap again! The servers had usually changed by then, so it all began again and again!

Philly cheesesteak from Denny's is my favourite. When we went last Novemnber with 12 of our family, we got them all addicted to Denny's Philly cheesesteak!!

Think next year we will have to try Applebees & Logans Roadhouse (this was on the list anyway after some good reviews on here!). I am going to take photos too as my new camera has a 'food' setting on it :confused2 . Dh & DD will laugh at me i know, but i dont care!!

I must admit we thoroughly enjoy the Philly Cheesesteak as well. Dennys and Logans were both very good. My DW tried it it TGIs last year and was disappointed, I think it was mince meat that was used + it was also twice the price!!!

The top one (mine!) was a Blueberry special with whole blueberries in the cheesecake bit AND in the base! It was excellent.

The middle is a Pecan Turtle (or something like that).

The bottom is the carrot cake cheesecake (the bit I tried just tasted like carrort cake tho but it got good reports).

All were georgous as usual (although we all thought we got a bit too much cream!)
