We are going for the second time to Orlando, but this time we are staying off Disney ( we did the animal kingdom lodge - amazing nothing else for it)
We are going with some friends this time, we are looking at staying at the Holiday inn international Drive. We have read the info in the hotel reviews about this place and it sounds ideal. But most have stayed in the tower if we get put in the lower buildings have any of you stayed in this part of the hotel and how was it.
Thanks
Pam

Just a thought have you considered a villa?
some people really like them and would not go back to a hotel and some prefere a hotel. Have a look at the accomodation section and see whats available.
Nearly all the hotels are the same to be honest. Not 5 star but very clean, everthing you need is there. At the end of the day all you do is sleep there.;)

Have stated in the tower room twice now. You could always email them and request a tower room. I think they seem to put all us tourists in the tower block to be honest. they would always move you if you didnt like the lower grounds anyway. Hope this helps

Having stayed at AKL and enjoyed it, will you be happy in the Holiday Inn?
I don't know that I could go back to I-drive after staying onsite. Westayed at the comfort inn lbv last year, having been onsite the previous year, and we felt it put a damper over the whole holiday.
Brings back memories - we stayed in the HI International Drive on my very first visit, way back in the mid-80s.
Those were the days - not too many Brits there then, quite exclusive in a way ;)
