Tracey, I won't be buying into AKV, I might be very interested in CRV or maybe another resale contract somewhere like BCV's.

Same here - we won't be buying AKV but would give some serious thought to CRV

We won't be buying in to AKV but hope to be able to saty there. We woulldn't even consider Contemproary resort because we can't stand the look fo the building. It reminds us of 1960's concrete apartment blocks in the inner city and doesn't hold any appeal for us. But I know some poeple love it so each to their own I say.

If I could afford it I would like to buy a small contract in AKV. Would buy a bigger one at CRV if it exists.:grin:

However I'm afraid to say this is all 'when I win the lottery' thinking at the moment.:cry:

There hasn't but it is only a matter of time. There was activity going on in the North Wing when we were there at Christmas and it would be an ideal location so we are all watching and waiting :d:

Tracey there is some information on the DVC Members website about the current deal for existing members buying points for the AKV.

I'd love to buy into it. AKV is a beautiful resort even if it is a bit out of the way. However for us too it's more a case of if we are lucky enough to have some kind of windfall and I'm not going to sell my OKW points to buy into AKV.

Not at the moment, I'd rather spend my money on going to Florida to use my current points, rather than buying more. I would maybe consider the Contemporary - I am not that keen on the building, but the location is brilliant.

We did consider buying points at AKV but now think if we wanted more points we'd just add-on at SSR as i think the resort is beautiful and suits our needs more! I love the idea of DVC at CRV but DH hates the place and thinks it looks like a rundown tower block, so there's no way he'd ever agree to add-on there :(
