I`ve read there is an ice rink in Orlando

Have read there is an ice rink in Orlando - has anyone been? is it nice / big / any good.

I am sure I have seen a sign on I DRive for it , if it is then we plan to visit when we go in March and I will let you know!!

We didn't find the one on i-drive (and not for lack of trying, I searched all over for rinks and didnt' see it advertised anywhere)

we did go to the one in Kissimmee which was not particularly nice (not grotty but nothing special), we didnt' skate - we had gone to buy boots and the shop was shut and it looked like they only did hockey gear so we left.

we did skate at a lovely rink in the Countryside Mall at Clearwater - not very big, but very nice ice and lovely to skate in the mall in shorts.

There was one at the gaylord palms when we were there at Christmas but I think it's a seasonal thing

there is definitely a sign on I Drive saying 'Ice Rink' and an arrow pointing down a side road, cant remember exactly which one but its along the section between Carrier Drive (Near Chillis) and the huge McDonalds, Having said that the sign was there on a first visit fourteen years ago and we have never found the place!
Funnily enough we couldnt find the 'exotic lingerie place' either:blush: ( well we werent married back then:d: )

the ice rink is just off i drive .there is a bowling alley downstairs and an icerink upstairs. we only did the bowling so not sure of the size of the icerink its quite close to the pirates dinner show as far as i can remember

I'm sure the Ice rink is off Sandlake Road, somewhere behind Perkins.

I have also seen that sign, but I can find nothing about it on the internet or in the phone book out there. We saw the sign as we were driving to the airport on our last day so it was too late to go and investigate.
