My DH2B and I are not really a sitting around by the pool type and we both really do not do sunbathing.
So would we get our money's worth from DC if we went early in the morning to get a morning dolphin swim. Then had a bit of a swim around the other pools and had lunch there but then after lunch left. We are thinking of then going over to SeaWorld.
So would we get our money's worth just going for the morning?
The other option would be to do the Dolphins In Depth tour at Epcot. Has anyone done this tour? Has anyone done both and which did they prefer?
Thanks for any info

Definitely an ALL DAY experience. The park has so much to offer, not just the dolphin swim. We were there for 8.30 and had to be thrown out! Could have stayed longer without a problem.

I'd say you were missing out if you only have half a day at DC. There is a lot to see, we're not sunbathers and never sat down other than to eat or have a drink and we were there from 7.30 am until closing time.
we have been twice to DC and both times we have stayed all day. i know what you mean about sitting around sunbathing as it bores me ridgid. but believe me there is soooo much to do and see in DC and its soooo relaxing that its a must and because of the money you pay then to leave early it will be a waste.

You may plan to stay half a day but im sure you will end up staying all day. We have been twice and stayed till we got kicked out both times and didnt laze around sunbathing at all.

Im so glad you have all said this...we have been to DC twice and both times were the 1st in and the last out. The other people there seem to either come early and leave midday or come later and by 5.30 the place is practically empty. Us on the other hand have to be forcefully removed from the water at 5.30, spend some time browsing the shops and collecting photo's and then go and have a shower and make full use of the all-inclusive shampoo, hairdryers etc. By the time we leave the cleaners have already cleaned everywhere and there practically locking the doors behind us (this seems to be a regular occurence with us in the amaheuser-busch parks). Well when your paying that much and when your somewhere so wonderful you might as well make the most of it havent you??

If you dont like sitting round all day try the marine mammel keeper day at seaworld. There is only a maximum of 3 of you per day, bu you do have to get up early and be there about 6am.
Its a really great day and as well as seeing the dolphins you meet the beluga whales, the seals, feed the sealions, meet the manatees and many other things. We got to meet many of the animals in both key west and the wild artic as well as help with some of the sick or baby animals. It depends on who shows you round and when you as to what you do. every experience is different. I would really recommend looking at it as it was the best thing i have ever done.
