Has anybody done this dinner show at Fort Wilderness, wondering if it was worth adding to our list for our up-coming trip..:wavey:

yes we did this in december, i have to say it depends on what your going for,
do you have children? it's not for the young ones. imho i thought it was expensive, you are in and out fairly quickly, the food was ok altough it states it's unlimited you need to eat very quickly to make the most of this as they only serve courses at certain times of the show. the wine was very cheap so if you are not driving then beer would be best, though the service was on a catch their attention basis.
the entertainment was quite good, very profesional but in all honesty i haven't booked to go again (free dining). this is just one persons opinion and i'm sure there will be others along with their views soon.

We went when the kids were small and had a great time. Wouldn't bother without kids though.

We also went when the boys were 6 & 4 - we did enjoy the evening and are glad that we did it but would not go again.

I'm wondering about doing this too there aren't characters are there more cowboy and coutry and western entertainment, I thought my DH might enjoy it as he like the wild west stunt shows and John Wayne films etc, trouble is he doesn't like corn on the cob or fried chicken or spare ribs which seems to be the main food on the menu, we have DDP when we go and although it would be free we would still use up 2x table service meals for it, what do people think?

The entertainment is very corny, old music hall style entertainment - not much in the way of cowboy stuff - just singing and dancing.
If there are just 2 adults, I wouldn't bother going.

Thought about this, as it seemed to be getting good write-ups, but then found some clips of home videos of it on youtube and was losing the will to live just watching them! Think I'd be trying to end it all if I had to sit through the whole thing LOL.

must admit we've done this show 4 times and will be going back again this year - i love the food and think the entertainment is brilliant.
