10th Anniversary Trip?

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas? Myself and my partner Finbar will be celebrating being together for 10 years on 14th July 2007. I want to surprise him with something a bit special but can't spend much cos we just spent about €6000 on a 3 week trip to florida, which was great but left the holiday coffers a bit bare! It should be a long weekend break so we only take 1 or 2 days off work and should be somewhere within a few hours flight time. It can't be too hot - max 30 degrees C. The main problem really is where will be quiet enough at that time of year?? Also we are not huge beach people so it would preferably be somewhere with museums/stately home & gardens/architecture/art galleries/parks to see. It would also be great if in the Euro zone so we don't have to change currency.

Only just read this...sorry it's a late one. What about Paris ? I love it and would be thrilled if hubby booked for us. Museums,galleries,churches, Notre Dame, Mont St Martre etc etc . street entertainment....plus its in the Euro zone. HTH
