Posted some questions on the tickets forum earlier this week but without responce (or many reads is that forum slower than others?) so am posting here too with some additions. Sorry for the x-post.

Has anyone brought a Vegas powerpass/SF go card?
Are they worth the money?
Or is it better to pay for the attractions up front?
Was there much you did that was not covered?
Anything else you can tell me?

Has anyone done an Alcatraz tour? Who did you get it from?

I have been looking at the FOTL passes for universal in LA, are these essentially the same as the express plus tickets in Florida? Can you jump the lines more than once in a day?

Hi, We stayed in San Francisco in January. We did the Alctraz tour and bought our tickets online with Alcatraz cruises the official web site. We did the night tour and loved it. Slightly more expensive but well worth it. I think it cost £13 each. We had a tour guide take us up to the prison and then did the audio tour. We put our names down to go down to the dungeons below which are not normally seen during the day. You get to see the sunset over Golden Gate Bridge and the lights of San Francisco brought tears to my eyes.

We bought the Muni passes in SF which allowed tranport on all the trams and buses But not the BART. Well worth the cost of $18 ( i think it was) for 3 day pass. Especially when you consider 1 trip on a tram could cost $5.
