Has anyone used this to buy tickets for Disney and DC?
Are they reliable?
Thank you
I have ordered through them and they have got everything wrong so far ! I am not due to recieve them yet so fingers crossed . Someone on here yesterday had a problem with them not sending the tickets on time. The general feed back has been if you do order with them give them a much earlier date of departure so you get them on time .

Thanks, I am wanting to book for DC too though
They seem to be the cheapest which is why I enquired
I believe if you contact attraction tickets direct they will price match . But don't just take my word for it you will get a more balanced view if you use the search facility and put in themepark tickets direct there will be other views there. Good luck.

Hmm everyone seems to love ATD but why dont they compete online with there prices instead of just price matching when asked? I believe if a company is willing to sell them cheaper, stick with them for the better price.

Hi,
Can I just confirm which ticket company you are talking about? When we spoke vai PM I was under the impression it was a different company with a similar name not www.Themeparkticketsdirect.com
Was it www.Themeparkticketsdirect.com or was it a different company?

I have ordered DC tickets from www.themeparkticketsdirect.com as they were the cheapest I could find. I ordered them on Wednesday evening and got a return phone call from them on Thursday morning to confirm the names, dates and details. They assured me that the tickets would be sent within 2 weeks by recorded delivery.
This was less than a week ago and although I haven't received them yet I was reassured by the phone call - they rang me just like they said they would! Having read all the recent comments on this website, I have been very nervous about whether I will receive the tickets but as we don't travel until August, there is no urgency yet. I will post here to let you know if and when they arrive.
It would now appear that the negative comments I have been reading have been about another company and so I am now confused.:confused2
The themeparksdirect.com website was also the cheapest for Disney tickets, so if they fulfill all their promises with the DC tickets, I will be using them again.

I agree - they are hoping to sell at a higher price with a higher profit margin. Why should the customer have to go to the trouble of finding out whether they can be sold at a different price than advertised?:nonono:

We have used them previously and my only comment would be that they do wait until the last minute to send them out which for a control freak like me is worrying. If I used them again I would give a departure date a couple of weeks ahead of actual departure to allow a comfort zone.

Confirmation and Issue of Tickets
On receipt of full payment Theme Park Tickets Direct will issue a confirmation of booking. If you book online this will be in the form of a confirmation page and accompanying confirmation email. Tickets and/or vouchers will be dispatched by recorded delivery within 14 days of booking. Theme Park Tickets Direct accepts no responsibility for and is not liable for any loss or damage which may be caused by late delivery provided that Theme Park Tickets Direct can demonstrate that date of postage was not a factor.
This is taken from www.themeparkticketsdirect.com website. Please make sure you are not confusing them with another website - possibly www.themepark-tickets.com

I bought my Disney / DC / Universal tickets from them on 31.12 and they were delivered within 2 weeks by recorded delivery. They didn't contact me re: DC for a few days so I did start to panic as website said they would phone before this. All was fine in the end though :spin:
i used orlando-ticket-deals and although they seem to be a few ££ more they send the actual tickets within the week. maybe worth the piece of mind!!
Just ordered Universal tickets from themeparkticketsdirect over the phone as the ones I wanted - 5ays for price of 3 inc. WNW with kids go free were special offer.
I had no problems and found them to be the cheapest anywhere at £65, I challenge anyone to find them cheaper !!
They said they would post in two weeks , would have done express post at £4.95 if i'd needed it.

I have just ordered discovery cove tickets from themeparkticketsdirect and as I was not at home when they telephoned to confirm dates they e-mailed me. I noticed at the bottom of the e-mail it said Keith Prowse and when I phoned it was a Keith Prowse office I was put through to. I asked if it was part of the same company and they told me they did the internet and telephone sales for themeparkticketsdirect. (I am sure it part of Keith Prowse though! Who are a reputable but expensive ticket company!) I couldn't finder cheaper tickets anywhere else and I did a lot of research! After speaking on the phone to them I have ordered my flex tickets and will get the disney tickets from them when I've saved up some more money!!
We ordered over 2 weeks ago from themeparkticketsdirect.com and still haven't received them, waiting for an explanation!

This was our experience too. We phoned and ordered them and paid over the phone. They said the tickets would be delivered to us within 10 days. They arrived on day 10.
No complaints at all and would use them again. They were certainly the cheapest we could find.:thumbs-up

We used themepark-tickets.com in January and found them very reliable and great prices, booked DC, Disney and Universal with them, delivered 2 weeks before we went

ATD are price-matching so will use them. I know you shouldn't have to but have saved £50 (£10 each on 5 tickets) - I can live with that.

I ordered my tickets from them on the 15th Feb, they arrived yesterday recorded delivery in a Keith Prowse envelope, so very happy with the service :thumb: , especially as I saved £86 on the official Keith Prowse prices.
They also included another 2007 Disney DVD, which we'll just have to watch in case there is anything different from the last time we watched it ;).
We got our tickets from them this morning and lo and behold, no free kids tickets included. Going to ring them later will let you know how i get on!!
I would not recommend them at all, they kept insisting we had selected the wrong tickets when there is only one option available for the tickets we purchased, we also asked for them to start on 17th March and they have got 14th March on, they tried to tell me I had put in 14th March when I had an email proving I'd stated the 17th. They then tried to tell us we could only have 1 child ticket even though we ordered 3 adult tickets.
They backed down in the end but I have had to pay to return the original tickets by Special Delivery as they won't send the correct ones with free child tickets until they receive the others.
Very bad customer service, I got no apology when they discovered I was right, will not use them again ever!!

I have ordered The ultimate Disney 14 days and seaworld tickets from www.themeparkticketsdirect.com as they were the cheapest.
Having read all the recent comments, I was very nervous :erm: about whether I would have received them within the 14 days they state will receive them as we don't travel until May.
Must say that we received them within 10 days of placing the order and within the times it stated on the confirmation email.
Also received real tickets:spin:
I have just received my DC tickets (yey!) from www.themeparkticketsdirect.com within the time stated on the website- ie 14 days (they arrived on day 12). I had placed the order online on the Wednesday night and received a telephone call 1st thing Thursday morning to confirm the dates.
I have absolutely no problems with this site at all and would recommend them wholeheartedly. I will be using them for my WDW as they are the cheapest and they have carried out everything the website promises.
I have been concerned about some of the comments made but would urge everyone to be clear of who they are talking about. Another website with a similar name - www.themepark-tickets.com - doesn't state a delivery time and this seems to be a problem.

Good point, if everyone booked through the cheaper option, instead of running to ATD for a price-match then perhaps the original (cheaper seller) would become as popular/well liked. I think it is because a) they are a Dibb sponsor and b) a trusted company - that combined with price -matching is a very powerful combination imho.;)

I second that!:)
I am closing this thread as there seems to be confusion between two companies with similar names.
