Has anybody done the character meal at The Garden Grill, The Land, Epcot?

We have been looking at the various dinner shows and at the moment this seems to be our favourite. Food looks great to me and our niece :tounge: as we are not fussy eaters, but Iain is. :(

Been looking at the menu and there are some things that I think he will like, pork loin as long as the chutney isn't on it, steak as long as no sauce on and potato gratin casserole and what is the cluster bread with the honey butter like? Well that is about it on the adult menu, I told you he was fussy!!:confused2 He would eat chicken tenders and french fries off the kids menu if you are allowed to without kids. And I'm sure that he wont have a problem with the desserts!!

Any reviews of this character meal and the food and service would be great. But personally, this sounds the best to me because of which characters are here. :thumbs-up

We had a meal there and the location is great plus the (slowly) revolving restaurant is a novelty. The meat is brought out on one large plate but if you explain to you server that Iain would like his meat totally plain they should be able to do this. We had very bad service there but I wouldn't let that put you off and it's great to see the characters.

Hi,

We too had a great time there but when we went we could not fault the service, this can always be hit/miss wherever you go.

We have been two times and enjoyed it on both occasions, will be back again this summer.

We went last summer and it was fantastic. Claire is a vegetarian - we mentioned it as we checked in and she was brought out a fantastic pea risotto which was divine. The meat was amazing and the kids loved the dessert - a cake and icing, sweets to decorate yourself. We will go back again next year

We have been twice and loved it both times. First time the service was five star but that was down to our server who was brilliant - plus they were not so busy as the second time.
The second time we went as a family and our eldest DD has allergies and so they spent awhile talking to her getting to know what she was allergic to and what she liked and disliked. They were really good. Character interaction here we found fantastic and not as rushed as Cyrstal Palace (although we loved eating there too!!!!)
