How is Belz/Prime Oulets progressing??

For all you recent visitors to the sunshine state, how is Belz progressing?

This used to be one of our fave shopping malls, and when we were last there In October, one of the malls had been demollished with plans for the others to follow suit. Has this happened?

Any updates would be great, we are just wondering how this is doing!:spin:

we went to find the vans shop last week ( after the kid in the vans shop / skate park in festival bay said it was still open ) it wasnt

the place was a waste of time, not much open, and what was open appeared to be half empty

they have built a few shells and are closeing the rest of the old stores

dont waste your time, go to premuim the other end of I drive instead

For the sake of the businesses that are still left (and trying to survive) take a drive by and see if there is anything you are interested in.

Working in the construction industry I can tell yout hat it will be a while before they reopen.

The other places do need the business though.

The vans shop has relocated to Prime Designer Outlet, which is accross the road from Festival Bay

A lot of the stores have relocated to temporary spots while the construction is underway. Drive around the area and check out the names on the buildings (they could really use the support). The outlest are known as Prime Outlets now so don't let that confuse you or make you think it is someplace else.

We got my engagement & wedding rings in Belz were going back this year for eternity ring as we wanted it all from same shop Rogers Jewelry. Anyone know if they are still there, if not where they moved to????

I just called and they are open for business and are in Mall 1. Mall 1 can be reached by I-Drive and then make a left onto Oakridge.

I was there last week . . Mall 1 is still open and has lots of shops, including the Disney shop . . the shoe shops over in the smaller Malls (3 and 4 I think) are still open as usual - Mall 2 is being completely re-developed and is just a building site at the moment.

Festival Bay (also owned by Prime) is getting some new shops and Bergamo's & The Cricketers Arms are both re-locating there soon (from The Mercado).

They will also be opening a Ron John's Surf Park too :spin:
