We are going to orlando over easter and have noticed the water parks have extra magic hours for all of April. We are not stopping at a disney resort so cant take advantage of them, but will the parks be busy if they are open 1 hour early for disney guests, will all the best locations be taken up, does anybody have experience of extra morning hours at the water parks.
we have the same problem in August. i understand that they need to try to get people to stay onsite, but i think doing this every day is really unfair to others as by the time none disney guests are allowed in most of the seating areas have gone and you struggle to get a covered area out of direct sun light. i cannot comment on how busy things are in easter but its busy in august

We stayed onsite last july, and went to TL one morning for the EMH, DD and myself got all the rides done in the hour and stayed till about 11am , Once the hour was up the queues for the rides where not long in building up, so make sure you are there for them opening, or be prepared for queuing, rsckon you should get a bed without any problems, as there are plenty about,

We are thinking about staying onsite next year and this is one of the main
reasons - We found it really annoying last year being stuck outside
TL - when we could see all the onsie guests inside

I love the water parks and will be going to BB and TL but I know that turning up to an already busy park will infuriate me. I really don't see why they have to do this every single morning.

I agree that this seems really unfair to we non-Disney guests - I'm going at Easter too.
I was told though that Mondays and Tuesdays tend to be the quietest days at the Waterparks, as the other parks are busiest then.
Another tip I was given was to go in the afternoon and stay til closing, as a lot of people leave mid afternoon, especially if they've been there since EMH opening.
First one to get there please bagsie loungers for all of us...!!

Maybe we should suggest a DIBBERS area as we will be there at Easter too:spin:

We were there the same two weeks you are going two years ago. We only went to Typhoon Lagoon - we got there about 12ish and it was busy but we still managed to find somewhere to sit and sunbathe etc. I only did the lazy river and the main pool and they were fine. I dont think there was a long queue for the slides etc.Although my DH & DD's were gone a long time but that was because they went on everything about 10 times:wavey:

Thanks Sam, that sounds pretty good. We have plenty of time scheduled for the water parks so we should get to really enjoy them but it's good to know that it won't be a total bear fight! :d:
