 First posting and I think I may have posted to the wrong forum initially...Ah well here we go again.
We are heading for Florida again this year in June for second year in a row. Spent almost all of our 2 weeks last year at Disney so we think we may venture out to some of the other parks on one or two days this year.
We are non-drivers staying at the All Star Music. Can anyone help with advice on best way to get from the hotel to Universal. We are 3 adults and 2 young kids.:wavey:

Hi

Welcome to the dibb.

In answer to your question I think the best way to get to US will be a taxi.

I would probably agree with that because there are 5 in the party. We are only 2 so we have been recommended to use Mears Shuttle which can be booked from the hotel the night before and will cost $14.00 each return.

Your other option is to use the Lynx buses - considerably cheaper but this would mean getting across to the TCC and with 2 kiddies I'm not sure you would want to do this unless you were on a tight budget.

Thanks for the information. Looks like a taxi may be our best option if it is less than $ 35 each way.
Any idea roughly what the taxi cost would be?
Also how often do the shuttle buses run, would be limited by that if we went by bus?

This is a decision we need to make too. We are staying at the Royal Plaza with transfers booked with Virgin Holidays.

We need to decide whether taxis is more economical than hiring a car (plus fuel, parking etc) for 5 or 6 trips to Universal/Seaworld.

A car gives you so much more freedom! An economy car can cost under 100 GBP per week and petrol is mega cheap!

Unless of course, you are a non-driver! :wavey:

It is an option we are considering, hiring a car for the middle week or 10 days.
