Hi
Can anyone advise where you can purchase an annual pass for disney from?
Is it only disney's website? Can a Uk citizen purchase these?

Thanks

You can only buy an annual pass for Disney (and Universal) from Disney (and Universal) and yes, as a UK citizen you can buy one! Great benefits too!

You can only buy the annual passes at the Disney Parks and photo I.D is required. If you own a house in Florida I understand that you can get a Florida I.D from your local city hall - this will allow you to purchase the tickets at residency prices - saving of $100 per adult. We purchased annual passes in December 2007 but were unaware of the residency price - annoying as florida home owners.
The annual passes allow free parking at the Disney parks - just show your pass at the car park entrance booth. Also get varying discounts at the Disney shops and restaurants at Downtown Disney - though need to produce photo I.D Buying the annual passes may not seem much of a saving on normal ticket prices - paid £1170 for 2 adults and 2 children - but estimated that saved £150 in 14 day holiday on car parking costs and shopping.

Not quite true that - as a UK resident you can order on the website but it is pain to navigate and shipping costs $10.
It is easier to phone WDW Tickets on 001 407 939-1289 using a cheap call service (such as Telediscount. (http://www.telediscount.co.uk/)).
It'll cost you 1p p/m for the call & $3 for shipping.
What you get is a credit card sized voucher that you hand it at a later date for the AP proper. On the back of the voucher is the number you need to log into the Passholder section of the website & order your DDE.
Mine took just five days to arrive!

Exactly right, the vouchers arrived very quickly for us too, I think only 3 or 4 days after ordering. Remember an AP allows you to order the DDE card too. If you plan to eat at a lot of WDW table service restaurants, this can offer quite a saving and covers a party of up to 10 for a whole year.
