Fantasmic is a show at Disney MGM Studios, it's in a Theater next to the Tower of Terror and you'll need to get seats a good hour before the show's due to start (longer if the park is busy). I'm not sure if it's on every night (I think it is) so it's worth checking on the timetable you can pick up at the entrance. I won't spoil it but it's a good v's bad show using live characters, videos (with a twist) and special effects. It's very popular and very very good and I would definately recommend going to see it.
I've never done the ADR to get the special seats but when I've been there the only section that seems to be reserved is right over on one side of the seating so I think you'd get a better seat by arriving there earlier and sitting in the middle seats.
Hope this helps!

Fantasmic is a must see. DD and I went twice last time we were over, and it is on her top 3 things to do at MGM list this time. We didn't book the package - just turned up and got a good view. My fave show in the whole of Disney.

It's truly wonderful and the music gives me goosebumps! I was transfixed the first time I saw it and I cannot wait to see it again.
Last time we went we arrived around 1.5 hours before it started so we could get good seats. This time I am planning for us to see it twice and for one of those evenings I have booked the Fantasmic dining package with H&V.
The benefit of this is:
1. Well you have to eat anyway and you don't pay any more than you would just to have the meal!
2. You can slip off and have a few rides between dinner and getting to the theatre, taking advantage of the fact that the queues will be shorter as those not on the package will be heading to the theatre to get their seats!
HTH xx :)

Nope, it's just like any other ADR although I think this was the one that they took a credit card no. to guarantee the booking.

Hi when i ve seen Fantasmic there has usually been 2 showings but thats in July. I see March has a couple of 10pm closures so my guess would be that possibly there might be 2 showings or one at 9pm ?
I have attached a link for you to look at, theres a drop down bar for each park and it should give you times of parades and fireworks for each park. You can also check on calander view the EMHs too.
Tip: When we were there in July EMHs started at 10pm for Disney guests and off site guests were supposed not supposed to ride the rides etc. BUT at the 2nd showing of Fantasmic, gate opened at 10pm they didnt check people were wearing the Disney EMH wristbands like they do for the rides so anybody could do this showing of Fantasmic.
Although EMHs are for Disney guests its not like the old E Ride night system (wish they would bring that back !!) when only Disney guests were allowed in the park. Off Site guests can stay in the park till closing, they just are not supposed to be able to ride anything or see the shows.
If you have a chance at doing a secong showing then do, its quieter than the first plus you can get to ride TOT etc while the first show is on.

We did the Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic meal. Glad we did the ADR because it did mean we didnt have to get in as early as you need to otherwise.
