In the wackey world of Disney, my son who will be 10 years and 1 month old when we visit in October this year will be an adult! I can pay to upgrade the remaining 4 days on his 7 day ticket to reflect his new 'adult' status, but I believe this is not cheap. Since he will only just be 10 and to be honest he will be the typical height of a 9 year old, would you bother? Will this open up the 'is ID actually required' debate?

I have heard quite a few people say that when they went to upgrade their child ticket to an adult ticket they just did it for free.

As far as I'm aware Disney will upgrade child tickets to adult tickets - provided they were first activated whilst your child was under 10 :) We'll be doing the same in about 6 weeks time :D

No debate required ;)

:wavey: he only has one day and a water park left on it, is it worth it?

Thanks for your replies Dibbers. Sounds like a 5 minute visit to guest relations will sort it out for us free of charge.
