Freckles is correct. The biggest selection is in the toy shop in DTD. DS filled his box to bursting. Great value!

There is a large selection of Mr. Potato Head in Disney Epcot. Just as you enter the park, walk past the Spaceship Earth and by the fountain, to the left is a disney store with everything you will need. :thumbs-up

Once Upon a Toy in DTD is fab for Mr. Potato Head. They amaze me with the lates 'bits' you can get!! Stuff your box as much as you can, as long as the lid closes you're OK!!

You will find the best selection in the toyshop in dtd. I loved doing this, a real challenge to see how much you can fit into one box!!!!!!! Sorry I can't remember how much it was though, but well worth it. Just remember to pack carefully and to fill the body up to.

We just filled ours with extras as we already had a body at home. Meant we could fit so much in. This was a better option as there are lots of items that are only there eg Goofy hat, Donald hat, Mickey hands etc

We did this at the big shop in Epcot. A CM came over and asked my kids if they were OK, DS2 was just trying to fit something awkward in the box.:confused2 She told him you could get much more in than he had and proceeded to do so. :erm: I would never have stuffed it so the box bulged but the CM did.:tounge: She then did the same for DS1. 2 very happy boys:grin:

Mousegear in Epcot has a very good Mr Potato Head section. I was busy filling up when a kind American man came over and showed me exactly how to fill every nook and cranny with parts for $20. You have to make sure you fill the box around Mr Potato Head as well as inside. As long as you can close the lid of the box its OK. I think they are such good value..........and fun too!

What a great idea! DD wants a Mr Potato Head when we go.

Any ideas where you can buy the body here?

Best Wishes

You can get them in most of the stores, but as others have said, Once upon a Toy has the best selection.
Alot of the time, if there is still some space in the box when you closed it, the CM will rearrange it so you can fit more in. My sisters were ables to fit an extra Madhatters Top Hat, and Ariel hair in thier boxes after the CM had kindly rearranged it. Great value... and alottaa fun too:)

I know you can get them in the shop opposite Primival Whirl in Animal Kingdom

Don't forget to open the back of the potato (there's a flap) and fill him up with small stuff before you put him in the box.

Also watch out that you get an equal number of right & left arms. Our nephew now has three left arms and only one right (Our nephew's Mr Potato head that is) lol

I got the Mr Potato Head and lots of bits in May 2005, it cost $18 at the time. I had read the hint about filling the head itself and it's amazing the amount of stuff you can fit in the box.

I bought myself a Darth Tater last week  My excuse is that my nieces and nephews love to play with the potato heads when they visit ;) (they practically live here at weekends). In the toy shop here they also had 6 euro boxes of "outfits" for the potato head, I got the pirate one, they also had mermaid and a few others, can't remember exactly. I now have quite a decent biscuit tin full of bits.

I'm glad to hear that the stands are still in Disney (I got mine in Mousegear in Epcot), will try DTD this time for hopefully a bigger range.
