We are staying in a villa in August and Im a little concerned about buying food when we're out there as I just got to goal weight at weight watchers. Im planning on eating out so I want to be good with the food in the villa. So I just wondered if anybody knew if they had seen any weight watcher food in the shops out there - just thinking of biscuits, sncky type food for in the villa.

Thanks

Hi Lisa :wavey: Well done on getting to goal. Weight Watchers food is readily available in places likw Walmart and Publix. I bought some delicious blueberry muffins in Publix. Just like the WW products here they all have the points value on them. I always buy the US WW magazine when I'm there as well. It just gives a few different ideas.

Hi Bustersmum,
How did you manage to lose weight while you were in WDW - I put on a stone in 2 weeks. I walked loads as well...but I did stuff my face with pizza, danish pastries, choc fudge sundies, doughnuts, cinnabons, pretzels ...need I say anymore:pgig: :pgig: :pgig: :pgig:

I dunno i just ate what i wanted when i wanted didnt go overboard always took salad starters if there where any not so much being on a diet as a way of life thing by that time.Mostly i didnt bother with desserts if i was hungry i would choose a starter over a pud. Also quite often we would fill up mid morning on a good size brekkie then not bother again until tea time if we had anything it would be something light in between.
Like i say i did walk lots but we had a villa and we would be in the pool quite a lot too.I too had done weight watchers so by this time i was in habit automatically of looking at good choices on food menus so i think perhaps this was the key.

HUGE choice of WW foods in Wal-Mart - much more choice than here! I also never put on weight at WDW! I eat well - steak, seafood, burgers, churros, funnel cakes etc and all the walking and sweating keeps the weight off!! :wavey:

Firstly, thanks for all the congrats - its really appreciated!! Im not planning on being a WW stickler whilst on hols, just having some healthier foods for snacks in the villa to offset all the puds Im going to have on meals out!!
I know from experience that throwing WW completely out of the window for 2 weeks makes it very difficult for me to get back into it after the holiday - and often leads to a downward slippery slope!

I fully understand what you mean. It is hard to get motivated after you have broken a diet for a while but I think you will be ok as there is food with the points on at the supermarkets and also it is quite and active holiday. Many congratualtions on reaching your target weight. I have lost 4 stone but still need to loose another 2!!:wavey:
