Renaissance (Near Seaworld)

:) Has anyone stayed in the Renaissance Hotel across from Seaworld? If so what did you think of it? I have booked to go next summer, but can't find any reviews on this Hotel. :confused2

Its coming to the end of a multi million dollar refurb at the moment.Think someone has just come back or could still be there now.We are booked for 1 night in august so will let you know when we get back if no one else does.:wavey:

I stayed there about 17 years ago, when it was called The Stouffer and it was beautiful, I know they have undergone a few redecorations since then, but it has always been a deluxe hotel.

In the lobby is a great atrium and some rooms overlook this, with koi carp ponds, a stream and nice coffee shops and a fantastic Sunday brunch. I am sure you will love it! Have fun!:wavey:

The hotel is reviewed on this site but it's under Marriott Renaissance Resort just to confuse you! I haven't stayed there but have been looking at it too and have only read good reviews. A friend stayed there a few years ago and only had good things to say about it.

We have booked to stay there for 1 week out of our 3 week trip in sept/oct.
We checked out the reviews on trip advisor - there are loads of reviews and it looks like a pretty amazing hotel:)

We stayed there for 2 weeks in March this year. The refurbishment is very nearly completed, but the work didn't affect us at all.

It's a beautiful hotel, and the beds are just the best you'll ever sleep on, IMHO!!!

Huge rooms, and huge bathrooms - you definately won't regret going there - and if we go to Florida again, that's where we'll be staying. You won't regret going there. :wave:
