6 of us are going to orlando in May this year! (less than 9 weeks to go!! ) All adults (4 in early 20s and 2 in 50s)

We know we basically want to visit everywhere so we've come up with this rough itinerary (although days to go to which parks isn't set in stone at all).

Does this sound doable?

Sat - arrive in the afternoon, settle into hotel and explore international drive
Sun - MK and staying for evening parade
Mon- MGM and staying for Fantasmic
Tue - Typhoon Lagoon
Wed - Universal Studios
Thurs - Seaworld
Fri - Busch Gardens
Sat - Blizzard Beach
Sun - Animal kingdom in the morning/Epcot afternoon and evening
Mon - Typhoon Lagoon
Tue - Islands of Adventure
Wed - MGM morning, Blizzard Beach afternoon
Thu - MK morning, Typhoon Lagoon afternoon
Fri - Universal morning, Islands of Adventure afternoon
Sat - Typhoon Lagoon morning, off to airport in afternoon.

We haven't been for 8years so this is like a first trip all over again. We loved the waterparks before so want lots of trips to them. Epcot and Animal kingdom appeal least to us which is why we think fitting them into one day would be a good idea.

Is this itinerary realistic? Any tips?

its a lot to do you might want to squeeze 1 or 2 rest days in:wavey:

we classed our waterpark dasys as rest days, so as long as you don't mind missing out on shopping and other non park attractions, I think that would be fine. You could split the days differently so you do a waterpark in the AM, leaving early/mid afternoon, then going onto a park - as I would think MGM & MK may be open longer than the waterparks in the evening

I think you should make some time for shopping ,even just to have a look.

I think you would be had pushed to do TL on the last day especially if you do DTD checkin as you will have nowhere to pack the stuff. You could also add shopping on your Water parks days as i doubt you would stay a whole full day if you get there early.Mk is very busy at weekends but i can see why you would probably want to go there on your first full day .

just a couple of things which I would personally change. I think your first 2 days are going to kill you. Remember you will be jetlagged and staying out late for the first two nights may not be a good idea. How about doing Typhoon Lagoon on your second day and then MGM? Typhoon Lagoon is more of a chill-out day so it will give you a bit of a break in between two hectic days at parks!!
Also, I don't know that just going to the Waterparks for an afternoon is a good idea. You'd really struggle to find sun loungers if you're not there for opening. Also, the water parks have a strict maximum attendance limit and people are turned away quite often.
Also, picking up on what carys has said, I wouldn't recommend doing a waterpark on your last day. Practically, where do you plan on drying out your wet swimsuits to put in your cases? Where are you going to shower, or risk spending a 9 hour flight stinking of chlorine?! We usually do Pirates Cove mini golf on our last day, as it only takes an hour at most and we can just go in what we are wearing on the plane
Just minor advice which you could consider. Apart from that, it's looking good!!

Hi we did TL last day last year, did DTD check in, breakfast Earl of Sandwich, then TL, hired locker and towels, showered at end of day in TL showers, dumped our swimming costumes in clear plastic bag after wringing out, although me and son actually just dumped the swim shorts as we had bought new ones over there, so yes a water park before leaving is possible
